1. Provider
The service is provided by Regonance ("Regonance", "we", "us"). Provider contact details are published on our Legal Notice.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, uploading data or starting a subscription you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Service description
Regonance is a software platform that analyses product, packaging and marketing data you provide and surfaces informational indicators of readiness against EU compliance frameworks including GPSR, the Digital Product Passport (DPP), EmpCo (Directive (EU) 2024/825), PPWR (Regulation (EU) 2025/40) and EPR. The accuracy of every output depends on the accuracy and completeness of the data you supply.
4. AI-assisted guidance — NOT legal advice
Regonance is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, regulatory opinions, conformity assessments or certifications. All scores, gap flags, suggested remediations and generated passports are AI-assisted informational guidance only. Decisions about placing products on the EU market — including labelling, documentation, conformity assessment and notification — remain the responsibility of the economic operator. You must validate outputs against the applicable regulation text and, where stakes are material, consult a qualified legal or technical expert. See the Disclaimer.
5. Your data and IP
You retain all ownership in product data, files and documents you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process and display Customer Content solely to deliver and improve the service. We do not sell your data and we do not train third-party foundation models on identifiable Customer Content. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in EUR via Stripe.
- VAT is added where applicable; invoices are issued automatically.
- You can cancel at any time from the customer billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Refund policy. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within 14 days of the initial purchase. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for the current period; cancelling stops the next charge.
- Where you act as a consumer in the EU, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies; however, by starting active use of the service during that period you agree that performance begins immediately and the withdrawal right ends once the service has been fully performed (Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, Art. 103(a)).
- Failed payments after the grace period may suspend access. We will notify you before suspension.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload data you don't have rights to;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or circumvent the service;
- use the service to facilitate non-compliant trade, fraud or other unlawful conduct;
- resell or sublicense the service without a written agreement.
8. Intellectual property
The Regonance platform, brand and underlying technology are owned by Regonance and protected by applicable IP laws. No rights are granted other than the limited right to use the service under these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or compliance outcomes arising from reliance on our outputs. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or for consumer rights that are mandatory under Spanish law.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious breach, illegal use or non-payment after notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, liability, governing law) will survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app with at least 30 days' notice for paid accounts. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent Courts and Tribunals in Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection forums available in the consumer's country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
